Citronella & Lemongrass Essential Oil Wax Melt

Most citronella products just smell like citronella. This one actually contains the active ingredients that help deter insects — because we've added Citrepel alongside the pure essential oils. Citrepel is a UK-produced, naturally derived insect repellent that's certified by ECOCERT and registered under the Biocidal Products Directive. It's high in PMD, a compound that's effective against a broad spectrum of insects. So you're not just getting the scent — you're getting the function too.

The blend itself is five essential oils: citronella, lemongrass, litsea cubeba, pine and eucalyptus. The scent is brighter and more complex than you'd expect from something practical. Eucalyptus and lime give it a clean, zesty opening, litsea cubeba adds earthy citrus depth alongside the lemongrass, and there's a surprising sweetness from the orange blossom and honey base notes that stops it being one-dimensional.

Brilliant for summer evenings on the patio, conservatories, BBQs, and camping trips. Works just as well indoors — particularly when fruit fly season hits. One of the few wax melts that genuinely earns the word functional.
