Uplifting - Essential Oil Blend Wax Melt

Four essential oils, all pulling in the same direction — bright, zesty, and cheerful. Lemon and lemongrass bring that clean citrus hit, while litsea cubeba (also known as May Chang) adds a deeper, more complex citrus note that you won't find in synthetic lemon fragrances. Geranium rounds everything out with a soft floral sweetness that stops it being too sharp.

What makes this different from a fragrance oil citrus scent is how it develops. Essential oils evaporate at different rates, so the initial burst of lemon mellows over time as the lemongrass and geranium come through. It's still bright and uplifting throughout, but there's movement in the scent rather than one flat note.
